TMJ Symptoms
Have you experienced chronic pain in your face, head, shoulder, and/or back? How about earaches, hearing loss, ringing in the ears, dizziness, and/or ear pressure? Have you ever wandered from specialist to specialist hoping to alleviate any of the above listed symptoms without results? Have you ever decided to just live with the pain? WHY LIVE WITH THE PAIN?!
Many patients suffering from these symptoms may be affected by a disease identified as Musculoskeletal Dysfunction (MSD) resulting in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, Commonly referred to as TMJ. Unfortunately MSD and TMJ are often over looked as potential causes for such discomfort. Patients are often misdiagnosed and bombarded with a surplus of referrals. Many patients are over medicated in order to make the symptoms more bearable to live with on a day to day basis. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE PAIN!!!
Dr. Deldar is a neuromuscular dentist able to diagnose and deliver effective treatment. Most importantly, to relieve the patients pain. Through this neuromuscular approach to dentistry, the cause of TMJ and MSD symptoms have been identified as an unsuitable relationship of the upper and lower jaw and resulting in spasms of the muscles that support and control the movement and placement of the lower jaw. This unpleasant sensation travels to other muscles interacting with the same nerve. This can cause the patient to feel headaches/migraines. As the disease progresses, patients may even discover an audible popping or grating in their jaw joints. THERE IS A CAUSE FOR THE PAIN!!!
With our Neuromuscular TMJ treatment most of our patients are relieved of their pain after completion of their treatment!
